Our Governing Board Member, Marcin Naranowicz, published a paper in Language, Cognition and Neuroscience. The work offers novel insights into how mood modulates the neural dynamics related to cross-modal semantic predictions, focusing on semantic context construction, anticipatory pre-activation, and prediction evaluation. The study provides valuable neurophysiological evidence indicating that, unlike negative mood, positive mood dynamically fuels cross-modal semantic predictions, particularly in high-constraint semantic context.
