A Big Team Science article led by CNC was published in Advances in Methods and Practices in Psychological Science.

This paper introduces a human-in-the-loop pipeline for creating context-aware (e.g., culture, sex, and age) affect-induction images, along with the initial Library of AI-Generated Affective Images (LAI-GAI). Moreover, it shows the result of a validation study (n = 2,470; 58 countries), demonstrating that LAI-GAI images are at least as effective as traditional stimuli. The bigger advantage, though, is adaptability across cultures, age, and gender groups.
