Parietal hub for goal-directed complex tool use

Gregory Kroliczak and Maciej Ras published a commentary in Cognitive Neuroscience at the special invitation of the editors. The paper demonstrates that the real/ physical usage of digital tools for efficient interactions with other individuals or objects (even if present virtually) necessitates the requisite reference frame transformations, from a purely body effector-related, i.e., egocentric, to an extended egocentric perspective. The latter clearly involves technological artifacts, as well as the application and manipulation of the displayed conceptual and sensory content.
