Bilingual speakers and gender stereotypes

Our Governing Board Member, Marcin Naranowicz, published a paper in Bilingualism: Language and Cognition. The results extend the foreign language effect to the context of bilingual gender stereotype processing, showing, for example, gender- and language-dependent modulations by sentence type within the N400 and Late Positive Complex (LPC) time frames.
